Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Associate in New York with 1-2 years of patent prosecution experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in physics, engineering, or related disciplines and be a member of the patent bar. Duties Conduct patent prosecution and counseling. Collaborate with clients on patent strategies. Draft and file patent applications. Analyze technical documents and prior art. Requirements 1-2 years of patent prosecution experience. Patent bar membership. Background in physics, engineering, or related fields. Experience in AI/ML, solid state physics, or related areas preferred. Education B.S./B.A. in relevant field; advanced degrees preferred. Certifications Patent bar membership. Skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Superior academic credentials.
