Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries, determining their physical therapy needs within the home care setting.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as exercise, manual therapy, and innovative equipment, aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients are on track to meet their therapeutic goals.
• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and family members on the use of assistive devices and physical therapy techniques to promote self-care and independence.
• Participate in continuous professional development by attending workshops, engaging with professional literature, and networking within professional organizations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and active State License in Physical Therapy.

• Proficiency in using standard word processing and computer software to manage patient records and documentation.
• A high degree of flexibility and adaptability in various clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• While previous work experience is not required, any clinical internships or relevant volunteer experiences will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with home care treatment modalities and assistive technologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
