Work Environment

The position is based in our outpatient office located in the beautiful area of Estero, Florida, known for its pleasant climate and welcoming community. You will work in a full-time capacity, with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable routine ideal for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and quickly identify the specific needs and treatment objectives of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused, personalized attention.
• Employ your expertise in orthopedic therapy to administer appropriate treatments that improve patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Utilize various manual therapy techniques and evidence-based exercises to minimize reliance on medication and promote non-surgical alternatives.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that encompass diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's personal goals.
• Design and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that address specific health concerns and promote overall strength and flexibility.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and treatment services accurately and in a timely manner using EMR systems, specifically WebPT.
• Provide strong support and encouragement to patients, motivating them throughout their therapy to achieve realistic recovery milestones.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate holistic care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves an orthopedic patient population, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to those dealing with chronic pain and mobility issues. You will be engaging with a diverse range of individuals, including athletes looking to enhance performance and elderly clients seeking to maintain independence through improved physical function. Your guidance and expertise will be pivotal in helping these patients navigate their recovery journey successfully.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy.
• Strong familiarity with manual therapy techniques and their applications in an outpatient setting.
• Competency in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and management.
• No documented board actions or disciplinary issues on your license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient facilities is highly desirable.
• A proven track record in designing and implementing effective exercise programs for varied patient demographics.
• Exhibiting strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and motivate them throughout their treatment process.

Compensation and Benefits

Our Orthopedic Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
