Job Description As a Security Guard Armed Hospital in Fountain Valley, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.55 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:30 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital grounds, entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Assist with access control, visitor management, and directions while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. CPR Certification is preferred. A valid Firearms Permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
