Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Hospital Patrol Presence in Fountain Valley, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to evolving needs. Pay Rate: $27.55 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence in public-facing areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
