In this full-time role, you will provide vital telehealth services to adolescents and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment for all participants.
\n
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in our electronic health record system to maintain compliance and inform ongoing care.

• Participate in weekly case discussions with fellow clinicians to share insights, develop treatment strategies, and brainstorm solutions to complex challenges.

• Stay current on best practices and evolving methodologies in mental health treatment and therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and young adults, a demographic experiencing significant mental health challenges. With a maximum of 8 clients in group therapy sessions, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships that foster trust and facilitate client engagement. This intimate setting allows for in-depth exploration of issues and promotes healing in a supportive community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
\n
• Current independent licensure in New York, including LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT, is required. Junior-licensed individuals are welcome to apply, as we offer supervision for licensure advancement.

• Ability to work a range of hours from part-time (12 hours per week) as a contract clinician, to full-time availability (40 hours per week) as a W2 employee with flexibility for evenings and Saturdays.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with adolescent and young adult populations, particularly in a telehealth context.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A demonstrated ability to navigate and engage clients through virtual platforms effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure level. In addition to competitive pay, we provide the following benefits:
