Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Document patient progress by maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment implementations in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
\n
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and community stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.

• Organize and facilitate training sessions to enhance the competency of clinical staff in implementing program strategies and documentation practices.
\n
• Provide regular follow-up care, including home visits and telehealth appointments, to support continued progress and address any challenges faced by clients.

• Contribute to interdisciplinary teams in meetings to strategize care methods, share knowledge, and align on best practices for client support.
\n
• Act as a liaison between Mind Crafts and the wider mental health community, participating actively in resource-sharing and community outreach initiatives.

• Stay informed about legal and ethical standards in counseling to ensure compliance and uphold the integrity of practice.

• Help create and refine training materials to enhance treatment programs based on client feedback and evolving best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Mind Crafts Counseling Center, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth facing a range of challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. Your expertise in specialized therapy modalities—whether in family dynamics, couples counseling, or trauma-informed care—will be instrumental in guiding clients toward improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong foundational knowledge of ethical and legal standards within the mental health field.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, using exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Familiarity with EMR software and associated technologies for effective record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
