Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health concerns.

• Deliver individualized and family therapy sessions, customized based on each client's identified needs and treatment goals.

• Manage and complete all necessary billing, documentation, and individualized treatment plans within specified timelines to maintain compliance with organizational policies and insurance requirements.

• Collaborate with clients to develop crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies, ensuring their ongoing stability and wellness.

• Create and implement a comprehensive discharge plan when clients reach their treatment goals, facilitating a smooth transition out of active therapy.

• Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and Serenity Peaks policies to ensure the highest standards of care are met.

• Participate in professional development by pursuing continuing education and training to maintain your licensure and enhance your clinical skills.

• Engage in regular case consultation and agency meetings to promote knowledge-sharing and clinical collaboration among colleagues.

• Complete all necessary licensure maintenance and mandatory training required by the organization.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, leading to licensure.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Texas.
