Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to individual client needs, focusing on practical strategies to reduce stress and enhance relaxation.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' unique challenges, triggers, and aspirations, crafting personalized treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness strategies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on mindfulness exercises such as meditation and breathing techniques, aimed at fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Lead engaging group workshops that cover various aspects of mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building, providing clients the tools needed for personal growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach that integrates mindfulness into various therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

• Strong foundation in therapeutic practices with a preference for candidates who have received training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or comparable mindfulness techniques.

• Expertise in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic practices is essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a supportive therapeutic environment that encourages client engagement and trust.

Preferred Experience\n

While extensive training in mindfulness-based therapy is preferred for this role, commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in this area will also be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
