Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, which includes evaluating the mental and emotional needs of the patient.

• Formulating and implementing personalized treatment plans, utilizing appropriate clinical interventions based on assessed needs, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based methodologies.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and interdisciplinary care plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations and organizational standards.

• Facilitating regular case consultations with hospital and community professionals to provide well-rounded and collaborative care.

• Scheduling and leading therapeutic sessions, adapting techniques to engage clients effectively and measurably track their progress towards treatment goals.

• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care, share insights, and develop integrated approaches to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clinical focus will include treating individuals from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a myriad of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. You will work to empower clients by equipping them with effective coping strategies and the tools necessary for personal growth.

Qualifications\n

To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following:

• Current licensure in Texas as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for helping individuals achieve mental wellness.

Compensation and Benefits\n
