Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education and training to conduct independent psychosocial assessments, formulating diagnoses that accurately reflect the needs of each student.

• Collaborate with students to create individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that address their unique mental health challenges and aspirations.

• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Techniques may include solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and more.

• Integrate your services with other providers, including clinicians and psychologists within Walmart Health & Wellness, to support a holistic and coordinated approach to care.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, tracking patient progress towards established goals through in-person and virtual check-ins.

• Assist in managing psychotropic medications, focusing on adherence, side effects, and overall effectiveness as directed by medical providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will be students in various educational settings, ranging from elementary to high school. Many of these individuals face challenges such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and familial issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently in mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.
