Key Responsibilities

In your role as an LMFT, you will play a crucial part in delivering comprehensive therapeutic care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' needs via telehealth consultations and in-person meetings when required.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, families, and individual clients, focusing on relationship dynamics and personal growth.
• Specializing in addressing a variety of challenges such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, and adjustment issues due to separation or divorce.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that incorporate effective therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting healing and connection.
• Providing ongoing support and interventions in crisis situations, employing strategies to de-escalate conflicts and aid family reunification.
• Keeping detailed records of client progress and treatment outcomes in adherence to clinic policies and state regulations.
• Maintaining strong communication with clients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide spectrum of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents, from various backgrounds and with unique challenges. Our focus on family-based therapy means that you will be engaging with couples, parents, and their children, emphasizing the importance of familial support systems in the healing process. Your expertise will be pivotal in navigating sensitive issues such as separation and divorce, communication difficulties, and blended family dynamics.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Strong passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome recent graduates, we strongly encourage those with experience in family therapy, trauma-informed care, or similar therapeutic settings to apply. Flexibility in availability is also desirable, with a preference for candidates willing to work 30+ hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

Renewed Horizons Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
