Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction disorders. You will engage with individuals from varied backgrounds, each with unique narratives requiring sensitive and personalized therapeutic approaches. Our objective is to empower clients to achieve their mental health goals through supportive counseling and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of mental health diagnostic and treatment principles.

• Proficient use of electronic health record systems, with preference for experience in platforms like AVATAR.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health conditions, including substance use disorders, and their therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to establish rapport with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
