Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain patients' psychological and emotional needs and to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to address prevalent mental health issues, providing clients with peer support and community connection.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure cohesive, multidimensional care for clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Demonstrated competency in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective, personalized treatment strategies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster trusting client relationships.

• Excellent judgment, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards in clinical practice.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

At least two years of professional experience working in a mental health counseling capacity, particularly within a community health framework. Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with diverse populations is a plus.
