Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries within a rehabilitation setting, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs and therapeutic goals, incorporating various techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Implement innovative therapeutic interventions and track patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, self-management strategies, and the effective use of assistive devices, enhancing their understanding of their treatment plan.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment responses, and progress in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights and strategies for improving care and outcomes.
• Attend professional workshops and continued education courses to advance personal knowledge and skills, and stay updated with the latest practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid license to practice physical therapy in Virginia is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
