The Happy Hearts Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dynamic team in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Work Environment

As a remote member of Happy Hearts Counseling Center, you will engage in virtual therapy sessions while also having access to our outpatient office. We strive to maintain a balance that works for both our therapists and the clients we serve, offering flexible scheduling that includes some evening and weekend hours when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources effectively.
• Provide individualized, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to specific client needs.
• Implement therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy to facilitate healing.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that include clear goals and interventions to ensure clients receive the best possible care.
• Coordinate care by collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to deliver seamless treatment for clients.
• Engage in crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans as needed to protect clients’ well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with ethical standards to ensure comprehensive care and compliance.

Qualifications

• A valid Pennsylvania license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
