Work Environment

The work setting at Health Coast Behavioral Center is onsite, primarily focusing on home care, where therapists interact directly with patients in a comfortable and familiar environment. Our full-time work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible scheduling to meet patient demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist patients in regaining movement, strength, and overall physical health, utilizing methodologies such as physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation exercises.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and lifestyle changes that promote physical health and prevent further complications.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt intervention strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure effective recovery.
• Collaborate closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care that addresses both physical and mental health challenges.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, adhering to all legal and ethical healthcare documentation standards.
• Engage in regular team meetings, professional development workshops, and case consultations to sustain a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
