Work Environment

This position is located in our bustling outpatient office in beautiful Riverside, California, where you will work onsite within a collaborative environment shared with two fellow Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our practice is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, emphasizing a structured and supportive work environment devoted to the wellbeing of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, with an emphasis on maintaining a steady patient load of one client per hour.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of techniques, centered around enhancing mobility and functionality.
• Engage in promoting non-invasive treatment options to reduce reliance on medication and potential surgical interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to motivate and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Document all patient interactions and therapy sessions meticulously to track progress and ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation services after orthopedic injuries or surgeries. You will work closely with diverse patients, helping them regain mobility, strength, and confidence through personalized therapy programs, effective exercises, and manageable recovery protocols. Our approach is rooted in building lasting therapeutic relationships, enabling patients to feel empowered in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no prior disciplinary actions against the license.
• A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing client-centered exercise regimens tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) platforms like WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
