Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to formulate personalized and effective therapy strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, adapting techniques based on client needs.

• Employ various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, tailored to individual client circumstances.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coordinators, to provide holistic client care.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC in this role will primarily serve a diverse demographic, including individuals and families with limited access to mental health care. The target clientele may present with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a vital member of our team, you will be instrumental in making mental health services accessible and impactful for those in need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia.

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Proficient understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling and mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client load. In addition, Heritage Behavioral Health provides comprehensive dental, vision, and health insurance packages, along with malpractice insurance. We also offer client referrals and support with billing and documentation processes, allowing you to focus on what you do best: providing exceptional care.
