Staff AccountantInnovu is a growing Pittsburgh, PA-based data analytics company providing comprehensive solutions that enable advisors and their employer clients to optimize their benefits strategy, human capital risk management, and health benefit design.The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting Innovu's Finance Team leadership and working across a range of key financial areas including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, invoicing, commissions, sales tax and management reporting. The Staff Accountant will be a valuable member of the Innovu Finance team and be able to successfully interact with other members of the Finance team and Innovu employees in various roles. Must possess real attention to detail.The position allows for a remote work arrangement with occasional trips into the office for in-person meetings.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Finance Manager in software revenue recognition, contract accounting, customer invoicing and related reconciliationsPerform AR follow up and related customer communications to ensure timely collections from customersSupport the Finance Team's reporting responsibilities by generating a range of financial reports and dashboards such as cash collections forecasting and specific customer analysesAssist the Finance Manager Revenue Analysts and Accounting Manager in maintaining and updating various financial software systems including our general ledger, revenue management system, sales commission system, etcComplete special accounting analyses and projects as requestedMinimum QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experienceExperience with NetSuite or other major ERP/GL software is highly desirableExceptional attention to detail and a willingness to do "whatever it takes" to support Innovu's growth and the Finance Team's priorities in a fast-moving environmentOutstanding Excel and spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables and vlookup / hlookup formulasStrong sense of customer service to address Finance's internal customers' needs consistently and effectivelyDemonstrated aptitude for learning new software applicationsSelf-motivated; comfortable working independently under general directionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat We OfferMission-driven culture where your contributions have real impactFlexible work arrangementsCollaborative work environmentGrowth and advancement opportunitiesLow cost medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with an employer matchCompany paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability coveragePaid time offPaid parental leaveAnd more!
