Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients, including individuals, families, and groups.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address specific client needs and goals.
\n
• Providing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices tailored to individual and family situations.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and efficient care, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes promptly and accurately.

• Engaging in regular case management activities, including consultation with community resources and stakeholders, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of comprehensive care.

• Maintaining ethical standards and completing necessary documentation in a timely manner, contributing to the overall enhancement of departmental operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various backgrounds and age groups. By delivering culturally competent care, you will help clients navigate their challenges, manage mental health conditions, and work towards achieving their overall wellness goals. The community health clinic setting emphasizes accessibility, allowing you to support underserved populations with empathy and understanding.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field is required. Should you have experience working within outpatient settings, this would be an advantage.

Preferred Experience\n
