Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Heal Street Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through direct clinical interactions, both in-person and remotely.

• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve common goals related to client care.
\n
• Respecting the diverse backgrounds of clients while demonstrating cultural competency in all client interactions.
\n
• Adhering to the professional ethical guidelines and organizational policies to ensure the highest standards of practice are maintained.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring integrated care plans focused on addressing clinical issues and promoting client empowerment.
\n
• Providing a range of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring approaches align with best practices.

• Monitoring ongoing client progress through timely documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders.
\n
• Participating in crisis intervention efforts and addressing immediate mental health needs as necessary.

• Facilitating brief, evidence-based screenings and determining further assessment needs as indicated.

• Engaging in the agency’s quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving clients from diverse backgrounds who struggle with mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other psychological disorders. Many of our clients come from under-served communities, and your work will be instrumental in providing them access to effective treatment and supportive resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Exceptional skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning that encompass comprehensive risk assessments and effective crisis management.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on engaging with clients and conveying clinical information clearly.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, while managing caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, candidates demonstrating exceptional talents and other relevant experiences in related fields will also be considered. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an added advantage that enhances client interactions and service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging between $70,000 and $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide our full-time employees with a comprehensive benefits package including:
