Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your roles will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to understand client backgrounds and treatment needs.

• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their mental health challenges.

• Facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups, helping clients gain insight into their conditions and develop coping strategies.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Providing crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Documenting all interactions with clients in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest research in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients include individuals of various ages and backgrounds facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. You will engage with each client with empathy and cultural sensitivity, addressing the diverse needs of our community while promoting mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and various evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Exceptional skills in conducting assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish rapport with clients swiftly.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience providing therapy in clinical settings. Experience in telehealth services and familiarity with EHR systems will also enhance your application, as these skills are critical for success in a remote work environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
