Work Environment

You will work onsite in our outpatient office, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our team thrives in an interactive workspace that encourages communication and collaboration. Given our patient volume of 1-2 patients per hour, you will have the opportunity to engage deeply with each individual, making meaningful connections that enhance their treatment journey. Key Responsibilities

• Implement services as planned, delegated, and supervised by physical therapists, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Assist in developing effective treatment plans and obtain necessary approvals from referring physicians to streamline patient care.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews of patients' evaluations to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of the physical therapist's interpretations.
• Utilize various therapeutic procedures, interventions, and modalities with a strong emphasis on safety and clinical judgment.
• Contribute insights regarding patient care issues that may affect progress to inform treatment adjustments and enhance outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation within our electronic health record system, critical for tracking patient progress and care history.
• Record treatment changes following internal policy and privacy regulations, ensuring that patient records remain confidential and updated.
• Provide effective instruction to patients and their families regarding maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for successful discharge from therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring physical rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, specifically obtained from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Possession of a current and active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care within a collaborative healthcare team.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to following established treatment protocols.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in outpatient orthopedic settings, focusing on exercise, manual therapy techniques, and sports rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
