Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' backgrounds and experiences related to trauma.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, building resilience, and addressing client-specific needs.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Delivering supportive crisis intervention and immediate counseling during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintaining detailed and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards and contributing to case consultations and team discussions centered around trauma-informed care.

You will primarily work with individuals who are struggling with trauma-related disorders, anxiety, and stress.
