We are looking for an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support a busy law firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a legal specialist who can manage probate and estate matters while keeping documentation, filings, and case activity organized. The role requires strong proficiency with PC Law and Microsoft Word, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily case activity for probate, estate administration, and related litigation matters, ensuring deadlines and documentation remain on track.
• Prepare, revise, and format legal documents such as motions, petitions, correspondence, and supporting case materials with a high level of accuracy.
• Handle electronic court filings and monitor submission status to help maintain compliance with court procedures and timelines.
• Maintain organized records within case management systems and update matter details, filings, and communications as work progresses.
• Assist attorneys with trusts and estates matters by gathering information, organizing files, and supporting the preparation of client and court-related documents.
• Process payments and support administrative legal tasks associated with active matters in a timely and accurate manner.
• Use PC Law and Microsoft Word to create, edit, and manage legal and financial documentation required for case support.• At least 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role within a law firm or legal practice.
• Working knowledge of probate, estate administration, trusts and estates, or related litigation matters.
• Hands-on experience with electronic filing procedures and court document submission.
• Proficiency with PC Law and Microsoft Word for legal document preparation and matter support.
• Familiarity with case management software and the ability to keep legal files well organized.
• Experience drafting legal documents, including motions, petitions, and related case materials.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
