Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education, training, and on-the-ground experience to make independent psychosocial diagnoses for patients in recovery from substance use.

• Partner with clients to create individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that address their unique needs and circumstances.

• Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based approaches, such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, problem-solving treatments, and behavioral activation methods.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, primary care providers, and other service professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Consistently monitor and track patient progress towards treatment goals, conducting assessments both virtually and in-person as needed, to adjust interventions promptly based on observed outcomes.

• Support medication management by coordinating care with prescribing physicians, focusing on adherence, potential side effects, and treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adults who are undergoing detoxification and require mental health support as part of their recovery journey. You will be addressing the psychological aspects of substance abuse in a sensitive and empathetic manner, working to empower clients through their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required

• A current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license to practice mental health independently in California

• At least 1 year of experience as a licensed clinical social worker providing therapeutic interventions

Compensation and Benefits\n
