Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct regular one-on-one supportive counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs.

• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately and promptly, ensuring completion of progress notes by the end of your shift, which reflect the progress made towards treatment goals.

• Assist in developing and updating individualized treatment plans based on patient input and clinical assessments.
\n
• Provide crisis management support as necessary, including identifying signs of distress and appropriate intervention strategies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process and treatment goals, enhancing their understanding and involvement in care.

• Advocate for necessary services and support systems for patients, demonstrating strong communication with multidisciplinary team members.

• Stay updated with changes in clinical practices and policies to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved and maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will focus on diverse client populations, including adults, children, and families, addressing various mental health needs through individual and family therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• The candidate must hold an active license as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is required.
\n
• Experience in providing marriage and family therapy to diverse populations is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic criteria and treatment planning as per the DSM-5.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
