Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of the family therapy needs for each individual client and their families to ensure tailored and effective care.

• Actively participate in clinical staffing meetings, contributing your insights to the development of family-centered treatment and service plans.

• Deliver individual, group, and joint counseling sessions that cater to the unique needs of clients, incorporating therapeutic modalities that best match their concerns.

• Develop and facilitate educational groups focusing on substance abuse, mental health, and family dynamics, ensuring a well-rounded support system for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, client assessments, and treatment plans to comply with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• At least two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical setting.

• Specialized knowledge in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma therapy is highly preferred.

• A strong understanding of the legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling and therapeutic services.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies is beneficial.

Preferred Experience\n

While our minimum requirement is two years of counseling experience, candidates with a more robust background in family-focused interventions, substance use treatment, and trauma-informed care will be viewed favorably. An understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity in therapy will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, depending on experience and caseload availability.
