Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you flexibility while remaining an integral part of our organization. Although your work will primarily be conducted from home, you will be expected to maintain a structured schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient availability and needs. Our digital communication tools will facilitate collaboration with colleagues and access to resources necessary for providing care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's background and trauma experiences, allowing for tailored treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and psychosocial support.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing journeys.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to foster emotional processing, coping strategies, and holistic healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a well-rounded and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive the care they need when they need it most.

• Educate both patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance recovery efforts.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of each patient's progress in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed practices.

You will primarily work with trauma survivors who present a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating your expertise in mental health therapy.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapy techniques and interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations to provide stability for patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
