Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' eating disorder symptoms and associated mental health issues, developing a clear picture of their individual treatment needs.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that set realistic and achievable goals for their recovery, closely monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster significant behavioral and cognitive changes.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing negative beliefs related to body image, food, and self-worth, supporting clients in challenging these thoughts.
• Teach clients coping strategies and emotional regulation techniques that empower them to resist disordered eating practices and develop healthier habits.
• Work in conjunction with our multidisciplinary care team to ensure a synchronized approach to client care, addressing each person's holistic needs.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to deepen their understanding of eating disorders, which cultivates a supportive recovery environment.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and session progress following legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to continually refine your clinical expertise.

This role primarily involves working with clients suffering from eating disorders, a population that often experiences co-occurring mental health challenges. Your ability to understand the complexities of these conditions will play a critical role in devising effective treatment strategies. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
• A deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders and their co-occurring conditions.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting directly working with eating disorders.
• Experience in a remote work model, with proficiency in digital communication technologies for virtual therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
