Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement personalized therapy strategies for clients, conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care that encompasses physical, emotional, and social considerations.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records that comply with legal, ethical, and accreditation standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in client interactions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of advancements in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele that includes youth and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will involve not only the treatment of mental health disorders but also fostering resilience and strength among clients who may have limited previous access to mental health services. Engaging effectively with families and understanding systemic issues are crucial components of your work.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical practices in mental health care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
