Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gather relevant clinical information and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of your patients.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices while being mindful of patients' cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health issues, fostering resilience, and promoting overall psychological well-being.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care strategy that encompasses every aspect of a patient's mental health journey.

• Providing crisis intervention services and support for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective care.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record systems effectively.

• Active participation in team meetings and case conferences to ensure ongoing collaboration and communication within the therapeutic team.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
