Overview
The Human Resources / Business Office Coordinator team member assists with ensuring the health and well being of our residents by being responsible for the operational functions of the Business and Human Resources office.
Responsibilities
Ability to verbally communicate well with residents, families, and staff members.
Ability to read and understand task assignments, ability to report verbally and provide written documentation as required.
Display of genuine concern for the elderly; a dependable, patient and compassionate attitude towards residents. Demeanor always respectful of residents' rights and wishes.
Ability to cooperate and maintain respectful treatment with others. Sense of responsibility, maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with residents, families, and other staff members.
Ability to perform assigned tasks based on Heathwood Core Values and to a high degree of excellence and cleanliness.
Demonstrated willingness to uphold the vision and mission of the company.
Experience and Skills:
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or Business degree preferred.
Training or experience in human resources processes required.
Interpersonal skills in person and over the phone required.
Strong organizational, time management skills necessary.
Solid computer skills required.
Valid New York Drivers License and clean driving record required
Ability to handle personnel situations with tact, and in compliance with state and federal laws required.
Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers required.
Recognition of importance of confidentiality regarding applicants and staff information required.
