Our flexible schedule accommodates the unique needs of a diverse client base, with requirements to be available Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to effectively evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that aim for trauma recovery and fostering resilience among patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help clients navigate their trauma experiences, acquire coping mechanisms, and stimulate emotional recovery.

• Collaborate closely with our multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated care that addresses all dimensions of a patient’s health.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and maintain patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the impacts of trauma, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to foster empowerment and understanding.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation that complies with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and professional development within the organization.

• Stay abreast of current research and practices in trauma therapy through regular participation in training and continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals impacted by trauma, who may present with a range of symptoms related to PTSD, anxiety, and other trauma-related disorders. Your specialized knowledge and empathetic approach will be pivotal in providing support and guidance as these clients navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C within the state of Maryland.

• A strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment methods and therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting resilience and recovery.

• Demonstrated experience and skill in providing trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a non-judgmental approach in your practice.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation and scheduling efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused care. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities tailored to trauma recovery will be highly beneficial.
