In this full-time remote role, you will engage with individuals experiencing mood disorders, providing essential support and therapeutic care through video consultations. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining high-quality care standards. You will conduct therapy sessions using our secure telehealth platform, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes. By leveraging technology, you will have the flexibility to create a schedule that aligns with your personal and professional commitments, while being available Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments during initial appointments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, ensuring that you understand their specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking their personal goals and preferences into account.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote symptom relief and healthier coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options available, and effective self-care strategies to promote mental well-being.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
\n
• Continuously update your knowledge of research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance your clinical skills.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and accountability in treatment records.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to refine your skills and share insights with colleagues.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working towards de-stigmatizing mood disorders in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. By creating a warm and trusting therapeutic environment, you will empower clients to engage in their treatment actively, fostering resilience and emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a proven track record of effective client outcomes.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacological agents and their role in treating mood disorders, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatric professionals.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of experience working with adults diagnosed with mood disorders in a clinical setting.
\n
• Experience in remote therapy delivery and familiarity with telehealth platforms will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
