Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity and frequency.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their specific needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to support clients in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to each client's care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development activities to remain current with best practices in mood disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. Your role will be significant in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and improving their overall mental health. We serve a diverse clientele, reflecting various backgrounds and lived experiences, requiring a therapist who can establish rapport and provide culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
