Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews and maintain meticulous documentation from the initial client assessment through to the completion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional well-being to identify specific needs and challenges.
\n
• Design and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups in alignment with current clinical standards.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage personal growth and achievement of therapeutic goals.
\n
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, doctors, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care and integrated treatment approaches.
\n
• Follow up with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers regarding clients' medication and hospital admissions, fostering a holistic approach to recovery.

• Assist family members and caregivers in navigating the emotional and behavioral complexities of their loved ones, providing guidance and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. You will engage with a diverse population, necessitating a culturally sensitive approach tailored to individual client backgrounds and needs. By understanding the unique challenges our clients face, you will play a crucial role in helping them find effective pathways to healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
\n
• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health counseling and demonstrated ability to deliver therapeutic interventions effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to maintain client records accurately and efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience dealing with various mental health conditions, including co-occurring disorders and addiction issues.

• Familiarity with the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Knowledge of the implications of pharmacological treatments as they relate to mental health.
\n
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, along with outstanding interpersonal skills.
\n
• A compassionate demeanor and the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
