Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews with clients, documenting findings from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.
\n
• Assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges and needs effectively.
\n
• Design customized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on clinical assessments.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic models.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in client needs and goals.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to devise comprehensive intervention strategies.
\n
• Manage referrals to specialists and follow up with primary care providers for clients requiring additional support.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to prevent behaviors that hinder progress.
\n
• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing behavioral health challenges.

The clients you will serve come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, including those facing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is mandatory.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.

• Expertise in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.

• Familiarity with addiction disorders, as well as physical and emotional health issues impacting mental well-being.

• Keen understanding of the guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of medication management and the effects of psychotropic medications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
