Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of your assigned clients, promoting their therapeutic journey towards recovery.

• Facilitate group counseling sessions designed to foster peer support and collective learning among clients.
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans and discharge strategies for clients, working in collaboration with primary therapists to ensure a holistic approach to care.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in each client’s electronic health record to comply with licensing standards, ensuring quality assurance in treatment processes.

• Engage in clinical team meetings, contributing your insights and collaborating on client treatment planning to optimize care approaches.

• Regularly monitor and enhance clients' treatment progress, addressing challenges and barriers within their day-to-day activities.

• Assist clients in integrating therapeutic strategies into their regular lives, helping them navigate the complexities of their mental health journey.

• Coordinate with family members and referral sources to ensure a cohesive support system for each client, maintaining weekly communication to keep stakeholders informed.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, actively contributing to the enhancement of service delivery practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through in-service trainings and supervision meetings to advance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center around a diverse client base, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Experience in geriatrics is preferred but not necessary. We are committed to meeting our clients where they are and guiding them on their path to emotional well-being through compassionate care and evidenced-based practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required for this position.

• Current and valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, or LCPC is mandatory; unfortunately, we cannot accept applicants with an associates license due to billing limitations with Medicare.
\n
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, to manage documentation and reporting effectively.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple client cases with ease and professionalism.
\n
• Self-directed work ethic, capable of functioning independently while remaining aligned with the team’s goals and objectives.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is beneficial, allowing for tailored interventions that cater to their specific needs and challenges.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous, as it enhances your ability to engage effectively with clients in a virtual format.
