This full-time remote position focuses on providing high-quality mental health care, specializing in mood disorders. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the potential for occasional evening or weekend shifts on a rotating schedule to accommodate client needs. Our telehealth platform provides a user-friendly interface for conducting virtual sessions and keeps you connected with a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity and longevity of symptoms associated with mood disorders in clients, including but not limited to depression and anxiety.

• Collaborate closely with clients to craft individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to mental health care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

• Offer education and support to both clients and their families, guiding them through various treatment options and self-care strategies to promote mental wellness.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide an integrated approach to care for mood disorders.
\n
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster collaborative care and continual learning.

• Advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mood disorders and ensuring their mental health needs are addressed with dignity and respect.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, requiring a culturally sensitive approach to therapy that recognizes and respects their individual experiences. A strong commitment to understanding and addressing the specific needs of each client is critical in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LCSW-R, Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in New York State.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders, demonstrating expertise in this area.
\n
• Strong proficiency in employing evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• A robust understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Demonstrated success in treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience specializing in telehealth services, and familiarity with the unique challenges and benefits of providing mental health care in a remote environment will be an asset. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
