Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to address the specific mental health needs of clients facing challenges.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, identifying factors contributing to their current situations.

• Create, update, and implement personalized treatment plans that contribute to clients’ overall mental health and well-being.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of each client’s progress, treatment sessions, and changes in mental health status.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to formulate and execute integrated care strategies for clients.

• Stay informed about local and national mental health regulations, trends, and resources to best serve our clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients in acute need, ensuring they feel heard, validated, and treated with dignity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with reflect the diverse and rich tapestry of our Scranton community, encompassing individuals, couples, families, and groups who are navigating various mental health challenges. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your ability to provide culturally competent, empathetic care will be key to fostering trust and effective therapy with all clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Possession of a current, valid, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• At least three (3) years of professional experience in mental health settings is necessary, showcasing a track record of successful therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality care.

• Thorough knowledge of local mental health regulations, resources, and treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
