Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while also requiring in-person engagement within the school environment as needed. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive mental health support is available to students. On-call availability may be necessary for urgent situations, ensuring that we can respond promptly to the mental health crises that may arise in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, considering their personal histories, current challenges, and risk factors to determine individualized treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with students, promoting mental wellness and supporting their successful integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to treat a variety of mental health issues.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing emotional resilience, developing coping strategies, and encouraging personal discovery.

• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide a holistic approach to student mental health, ensuring streamlined care and communication.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support and mental health resources during urgent situations to safeguard student safety and stability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base comprises students from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique set of experiences and challenges. As an LCSW in our school, you will play a critical role in addressing mental health disorders, emotional challenges, and socio-environmental issues affecting the students. You will engage with students from various age groups, adapting your approaches to meet individual needs while fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the State of New Jersey is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
