Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting pediatric students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging and collaborative environment near Denham Springs, LA. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for those who have a passion for helping children excel in communication and learning, and welcomes candidates interested in travel assignments.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations or in school settings is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with all state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations as part of a supportive team
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
