Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ specific needs and goals.

• Facilitate therapist-led support groups, providing a safe and supportive space for participants.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to effectively assist clients in addressing their mental health challenges.

• Maintain open lines of communication with clients to foster trust and encourage ongoing engagement in their recovery journey.

• Stay updated on professional development by obtaining Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually, with costs covered by our organization.

• Collaborate with our Content Manager to create educational materials, and contribute to leadership initiatives within the community.

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring seamless care coordination and support for clients in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals seeking to improve their relationship with alcohol, including those interested in both moderation and abstinence. We embrace a harm-reduction approach, recognizing that our clients come from diverse backgrounds and bring various recovery goals. Your ability to empathize and engage with clients who may reference community recovery support groups such as AA or Smart Recovery will be essential in fostering holistic healing experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC license in Washington state.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in mental health counseling.

• Strong understanding and certification in evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated skill in engaging clients and showing empathy, facilitating effective treatment outcomes.

• Familiarity with community recovery support options and the ability to integrate these resources in treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in facilitating group therapy or support groups is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and systems for mental health practices will provide a competitive advantage. Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
