Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients to determine the severity and characteristics of their mood disorders, using structured interview and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, accounting for their specific symptoms, life situations, and personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring these approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Educate clients and their families regarding the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress through scheduled sessions, adjusting treatment plans as required to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to facilitate an integrated care approach that ensures continuity and comprehensiveness of services.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to inform clinical strategies.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to contribute to and learn from collective experiences.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, supporting efforts to reduce stigma associated with mental health and promoting broader access to needed services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, which includes individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds and life experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly with mood disorder populations.

• Proficient in evidence-based therapies for treating mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and collaborative abilities to work alongside medical professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, along with additional bonuses for outstanding performance.
