Work Environment\n

The work setting is entirely remote, enabling you to maintain a flexible schedule while meeting the demands of the position. We offer adaptable work hours between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing you to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle, whether that be a four 10-hour day work week or five 8-hour days. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of:

• Providing individualized psychotherapy, counseling, and therapeutic services to students, families, and groups.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive assessments by interviewing clients to gather social, personal, and health information essential for effective treatment planning.
\n
• Evaluating emotional and behavioral challenges within your scope of practice and developing tailored intervention strategies.
\n
• Coordinating and planning comprehensive programs to address the social and emotional needs of your clients.
\n
• Facilitating crisis interventions, identifying resources, and making appropriate referrals to community services.
\n
• Documenting all client interactions and treatment outcomes accurately and timely in adherence with established protocols.
\n
• Maintaining an active and organized caseload, ensuring regular follow-ups and updates on client progress.
\n
• Engaging in collaborative consultation with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support the comprehensive care of each student.

• Participating in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
\n
• Performing additional duties that may be assigned as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, acknowledging their unique developmental, social, and emotional needs. You will be responsible for addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, grief, and relationship challenges, empowering them to navigate their emotions and thrive in their academic and personal lives.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
