Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological and emotional health, while also considering co-occurring medical conditions.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that effectively address both psychiatric issues and underlying medical conditions, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient’s unique needs, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Offering crisis intervention and supportive measures during mental health emergencies, using adapted techniques to de-escalate situations and provide immediate assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support patients facing mental health challenges related to co-occurring medical conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. You will play a vital role in helping these individuals navigate their treatment journeys, providing empathetic support, and fostering resilience through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• A high degree of professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining ethical standards and patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n
