Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate clients' mental health, emotional well-being, and life circumstances.

• Formulate tailored treatment plans based on individual client assessments, ensuring these plans are discussed and agreed upon with clients.

• Provide evidence-based individual and couples therapy sessions to clients of varying ages, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and more.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, resolving conflicts, and strengthening interpersonal dynamics.

• Monitor and adapt treatment plans regularly, based on client progress and emerging client needs.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes using electronic health record systems.

• Share insights and strategies with interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering support during acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional education, staying abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques, trends, and ethical standards in the field.

• Promote self-care practices for both clients and yourself, recognizing the importance of emotional resilience in effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is mandatory.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a capability to efficiently learn and use electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
