Work Environment\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor within our organization, you will work in an outpatient setting that emphasizes the importance of flexibility and collaboration. You will have access to a supportive team environment under the guidance of the Assistant Director, who will provide mentorship and direction as you develop and implement comprehensive care plans. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, providing a healthy work-life balance with no evening or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual assessments to discuss client goals, preferences, and available treatment options before creating customized rehabilitation plans.

• Design and adjust rehabilitation plans according to each client's educational background, abilities, and employment aspirations, ensuring that they are personalized and relevant.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals—including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists—to deliver tailored rehabilitation programs addressing clients' specific mental health needs.

• Keep accurate case files and records for each client, which include personal information, eligibility status, insurance coverage, services provided, and ongoing progress notes.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, making adjustments to goals as necessary to optimize their success in treatment.
\n
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout their journey, offering support and addressing any concerns related to job training or occupational placement programs.
\n
• Engage with clients' families to assess and address their needs to foster the best possible environments for client success.
\n
• Document analytical reports on client needs and ensure timely referrals to additional resources when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele dealing with various mental health and mood disorders. Your experience in treating individuals in both residential and outpatient settings will enhance your effectiveness in understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure.
\n
• A demonstrated history of providing mental health treatment to clients with mood disorders in both outpatient and residential environments.

• A collaborative mindset, showcasing passion for fostering positive change within the community and among clients.

• Proficient clinical skills in modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
